The pool we utilize is a full size, warm water pool!

With access ramps and varying depths, our licensed physical therapists are able to customize your treatments to your condition. Being able to utilize the necessary amount of water is critical to providing maximum comfort.  Maximizing the amount of water decreases the amount of weight bearing, and therefore the stress placed on the joints.  This aspect of aquatic therapy is especially useful for patients with arthritis, healing fractured bones, or who are overweight.  Many who would not otherwise be able to perform exercises are able to do so with the assistance of water.  This enables them to begin and progress through an exercise regimen, often leading back to land-based exercises and full recovery.

50 Percent Weight Reduction

Aquatic Therapy uses the physical properties of water to assist in patient healing and exercise performance.

70 Percent Weight Reduction

One benefit of aquatic therapy is the buoyancy provided by the water.  Varying degrees of submersion assist in supporting the weight of the patient.

90% Weight Reduction
